Kathleen Horan, Founder

Kathy started Warm A Sole, Inc. in June 2014. Her drive and passion for helping children obtain new shoes, building confidence and self-esteem comes from her own childhood experiences. Kathleen is committed to helping others, by giving back and raising awareness of the struggling hard working mothers, fathers and families in the surrounding communities.

Kathleen was raised in Northern California, she attended Golden Gate University where she obtained her BA in Human Resources/Business Management while working full time. Kathleen is a successful entrepreneur and is President/CEO of a Utility Supply Company in Northern California.

Paula Mattos, Program and Operations Coordinator

Paula is a Controller with TNT Industrial Contractors and mother of two from Northern California. Paula has been with TNT for over 20 years and has enjoyed the success that life has brought her. As a single parent Paula is fully aware of the daily struggles and how hard it can be financially to provide the basic necessities. Because of Paula’s own experiences she has become passionate about Warm a Sole and inspired to give back to surrounding communities by donating her time in order to help others in need.

Dana Stansel, Social Media Coordinator

Dana Stansel was raised on the east coast and attended the University of Florida where she earned her BA with a focus on Marketing.  Dana enjoyed an 18 year career with Target corporation as a Director in both the stores and distribution sector of the organization.  She is now an entrepreneur and runs a successful online retail business as well as produces a website and blog focused on productivity.  She has a passion for giving back and has served on the boards of the United Way of Woodland and the National Down Syndrome Coalition.

Jennifer Dighton, Inventory Control Manager

Jennifer is from Portland, Oregon and has been in sunny California for 3 years.  While in Oregon Jennifer worked as Assistant Manager for Famous Footwear.  She and her husband transferred and she was able to continue her position as Assistant Manager with Famous Footwear in the Roseville area.  Jennifer has been with Famous Footwear for over 5 years.
After meeting Kathy I was moved by the compassion and mission of helping children.
